Internet Safety Unit – Use Your Netsmartz!

Resources
We have started a new unit about Internet Safety! Ask your child if they can remember the 4 rules we learned? Maybe they can even tell you more than that! I have included a parent letter that is included in the program we are using. This letter also includes the 4 rules. The program has lots of information for parents too so feel free to explore for yourself.

  • Skip count by 5s, 10s and 100s forward and backward to 1000.
  • Skip count by 3s, 4s and 25s forward and backward to 1000.
  • Estimate how many items are in a large collection by comparing it to a known quantity.

SCC Story Walk – The Power of One

Traditions Elementary School SCC and École Warman Elementary School SCC are teaming together to put on a Family Literacy project! Starting on November 2nd until November 15th, families can participate in a Story Walk at your leisure. Your family will get to read pages of a great book posted in the windows of local businesses. Questions sheets were distributed by the school on Monday and should be returned to the school by November 16th.  A BIG thank you needs to go out to our SCC’s for gathering the businesses and posting the pages.  A BIG, BIG thank you to our local businesses for supporting our Story Walk.

*Please respect the customers and other readers as you maintain your distance while reading the pages.  We hope you enjoy the story together!
